$29-30/hour. 2nd Shift (first shift for first year)
Responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges. This role involves reading blueprints, machining parts, assembling tooling, and troubleshooting tooling or process issues to ensure quality production.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan tooling and machining operations.
- Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses.
- Measure, machine, and assemble tooling components to precise tolerances.
- Inspect finished tools using precision measuring instruments.
- Repair and modify dies, tools, and fixtures as needed.
- Support troubleshooting and process improvements on production tooling.
- Test and inspect dies to ensure quality and proper function.
- Available to work any shift as needed.
Qualifications- Associate's Degree in Tool & Die or Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification.
- CNC machining experience required.
- Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills.
- Experience operating manual and CNC machine tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot tooling and support production improvements.
