About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Glass Cutter to join our manufacturing team. This position plays a key role in ensuring high-quality glass production while maintaining safety, accuracy, and efficiency on the shop floor.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the glass cutting machine to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare carts, verify sequences, and follow daily cutting schedules.
  • Cut and break out glass precisely on the cutting and breakout tables.
  • Accurately place glass into designated cart slots per the optimization monitor.
  • Inspect all glass for defects, scratches, and imperfections prior to production flow.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards—cleaning equipment, vacuuming table tops, and keeping the work area safe.
  • Dispose of drop glass properly in designated dumpsters.
  • Report equipment or computer issues immediately to supervision
Requirements:


  • Prior experience in manufacturing or glass production preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to operate and maintain production equipment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow production schedules.
  • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand for most of the shift.
