Job description

RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, and Childrens Specialized Hospital are currently seeking two board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Physiatrists for full-time roles throughout New Jersey. Responsibilities for these roles include acting as the attending physician and coordinating the rehabilitation of patients at a busy practice. Physician alignment, patient safety, medical staff development, clinical information systems and clinical outcomes are all foci of this position.

Our physicians participate in cutting-edge research in treatment for children with a variety of neurological and developmental disorders in collaboration with the renowned scientists at the Kessler Foundation. As part of our team, new staff will be supported by a network of seasoned physicians and dedicated support staff. They will also open themselves up to opportunities for mentoring residents in research.

RWJBarnabas Health offers competitive compensation and a robust benefits package including health, life, disability and malpractice insurance, 401k/retirement, plus PTO and added time off for CME.
Candidate Requirements: 

  • Fellowship trained in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • ABPMR Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine board-certified or board-eligible
  • NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $250,000 to $400,000 per year.
