The Position: We are seeking a Tax Manager to lead multiple client engagements while managing and mentoring a growing tax team. This role will oversee complex tax compliance and planning projects, maintain strong client relationships, and support firm growth through leadership, technical guidance, and advisory services. The ideal candidate brings strong technical tax expertise, leadership ability, and a proactive client service mindset.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and review complex federal, multi-state, and international tax returns including corporate, partnership, and individual filings.
  • Oversee multiple client engagements simultaneously and ensure the timely delivery of tax services.
  • Lead, mentor, and review the work of tax staff and seniors while supporting their professional development.
  • Conduct advanced tax research and develop planning strategies for complex tax matters.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing guidance on tax compliance, planning, and advisory matters.
  • Monitor workflow and manage engagement assignments to ensure efficiency and adherence to deadlines.
  • Collaborate with partners and directors to communicate engagement progress and resolve client issues.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and support the growth of client relationships.
  • Stay current on evolving tax regulations and industry developments to ensure best practices.


What You Need (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; Master’s in Taxation or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
