General Summary
Maintain assigned grounds in neat and orderly fashion by using power landscaping and equipment as needed.
Specific Position Duties
Perform semi-skilled work in the care and culture of plants, hedges, grass and general maintenance of grounds; Perform ground related work such as mowing grass, trimming shrubs, pruning trees, keeping grounds clean; Maintain athletic fields inside and outside, both baseball and softball.
Minimum Qualifications
Deliver, haul and move equipment and perform related duties; Operate various vehicles and machinery including but not limited to forklift, backhoe, sweeper, push mower, riding mower, tractor, weed eater, edger and various hand tools; Ability to climb, balance, bend, kneel and crouch to gain access to plants; Near-vision acuity needed to operate tools and machinery; Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or director.
