Physician - Advanced Cardiac Imaging and Cardio-Oncology
Heart Center
Position Summary / Career Interest:
The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Cardiology, has a faculty position opening for a Non-invasive Cardio-Oncology Cardiovascular Specialist, who will join the team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at the region's quaternary referral center.
The position offers a dynamic opportunity to deliver comprehensive patient care across various clinical environments, encompassing clinic, ambulatory, and in-patient settings. It involves active engagement in non-invasive imaging services according to credentialing and scheduling, ensuring the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient care. Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on scholarly pursuits, including collaborative education and research activities with students and fellows. For those inclined, independent research initiatives are encouraged. The role also includes participation in non-invasive call duties, aligning with established practices for non-invasive cardiologists.
Required Qualifications:
  • MD or DO
  • ABIM Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Completion of Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship
  • Completion of Advanced Cardiac Imaging and Cardio-Oncology Fellowship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in Cardiac Echo Imaging
  • Board Certified in Cardiac Nuclear Imaging
