Job Summary
The Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Site Lead is responsible for coordinating daily site operations and maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of facility assets and equipment. This role serves as the primary on-site leader, providing technical guidance to operations and maintenance personnel while supporting operational goals, regulatory compliance, and customer requirements. The O&M Site Lead works closely with site leadership, contractors, and stakeholders to optimize equipment availability, maintenance execution, and overall site performance. The position plays a key role in promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
This position is contingent upon award of the contract.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate daily operations and maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient site performance.
  • Direct and support maintenance technicians, operators, and contractors in the execution of scheduled and corrective work.
  • Monitor equipment performance and system reliability, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and asset availability.
  • Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs in accordance with site requirements and established procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate work schedules, maintenance outages, and operational activities to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
  • Investigate equipment failures, operational issues, and safety incidents, assisting with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, work orders, and operational reports within applicable systems.
  • Support inventory management, procurement of parts and materials, and contractor oversight activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process optimization efforts.

Basic Qualifications
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, maintenance, facilities, utilities, manufacturing, energy, or other industrial environments.
  • Experience leading or coordinating maintenance and operational activities in a team-oriented setting.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, maintenance practices, and operational procedures.
  • Strong communication, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience in power generation, renewable energy, water/wastewater, manufacturing, data center, or other critical infrastructure environments.
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and asset management software.
  • Certification in a maintenance, reliability, safety, or technical discipline (CMRP, OSHA, NCCER, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive operational and maintenance performance improvements.
