Job Summary

Katapult is a leading software development firm specializing in engineering solutions that provide reliable utilities for people. We are specifically looking for a talented individual with an interest in the technical and administrative infrastructure of human resources. This position will be responsible for leading a frictionless recruitment process, designing and managing our competitive benefits offerings, and ensuring total labor law compliance. Applicants should be detail-oriented "logistics ninjas" who find satisfaction in error-free processes and clear communication. The job will be full-time and in person at Katapult’s office in Dillsburg, PA.

Expected Job Roles

  • Benefits Design amp; Administration: Own the selection and management of Katapult’s benefits package. You will research market trends, evaluate vendors, and decide which plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement 401k, HSA, and Disability) best align with our values. You will manage the daily administration, annual open enrollment cycles, and compliance of these programs.
  • Compliance amp; Safety: Maintain 100% mastery of federal and state labor laws; and coordinate workplace health and safety protocols (OSHA).
  • Recruitment amp; Pipeline Facilitation: Lead the end-to-end hiring process from initial posting to final selection. Own the administration of our hiring software and act as the primary owner of the applicant funnel, ensuring no candidate gets "stuck" at any stage. Proactively identify bottlenecks, nudge internal stakeholders for feedback, and maintain consistent communication with applicants.
  • Onboarding amp; Lifecycle Transitions: Execute all administrative checklists for new hires, internal role shifts, and offboarding.
  • Accountability amp; Reviews: Act as the "traffic controller" for 90-day and Annual reviews—ensuring schedules are met and documentation is filed accurately and on time.
  • Internal Communication: Draft and distribute "Company Headlines" and required compliance notifications to the team.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years of HR experience with a heavy emphasis on benefits selection, compliance, and talent pipeline management.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; or equivalent professional experience coupled with HR certification (SHRM-CP/PHR).
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in HRIS/ATS platforms; experience in negotiating with insurance brokers and evaluating plan designs.
