About the Role

KARL STORZ is seeking an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist (OES) to join our team in a hands‑on, customer‑facing role supporting advanced endoscopic technologies, surgical instrumentation, and visualization systems directly within a hospital environment. Working closely with Operating Room (OR), Sterile Processing (SPD), and BioMed teams, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring equipment readiness, supporting clinical workflows, and helping healthcare professionals deliver exceptional patient care.

This position offers daily exposure to cutting‑edge medical technology while providing a strong foundation for career growth across sales, leadership, training, technical support, and other areas within KARL STORZ. If you thrive in fast‑paced environments, enjoy solving problems, and are passionate about supporting customers, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

What You’ll Do
  • Provide on‑site support and technical expertise to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams, helping ensure seamless surgical operations.
  • Set up, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot KARL STORZ video towers, camera systems, light sources, and related technologies.
  • Support surgical procedures by responding to equipment‑related issues in real time and minimizing disruptions to clinical workflows.
  • Coordinate repairs, exchanges, service requests, and inventory tracking to maintain equipment availability and readiness.
  • Transport, clean, sterilize, package, and inspect surgical instruments in accordance with hospital policies and procedural requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals by delivering exceptional customer service and technical support.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in healthcare, sterile processing, surgical technology, medical device support, customer service, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across clinical and operational teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and reporting tools.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting and transporting equipment up to 25 pounds.
Nice to Have
  • Associate’s degree or higher.
  • CRCST certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Experience supporting surgical instruments, endoscopy equipment, or medical devices.
  • Knowledge of operating room, sterile processing, or healthcare workflows.
