Resort Dishwasher
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Resort Dishwasher. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of all dishware, glassware, and silverware while ensuring the highest standards of sanitation. You will also be responsible for assisting the kitchen staff in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and all storage areas for both Restaurant and Banquet Kitchens.
As part of our team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.
Starting Rate: $15.00 an hour.
Key Responsibilities
  • Load, run and unload dish machine according to sanitation specifications to ensure all china, glass, and silver are cleaned thoroughly
  • Forecast dish and equipment requirements needed for each shift based on business needs.
  • Assist with cleanliness of kitchen area.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the culinary and sanitation preventative maintenance programs.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in stewarding and/or dishwashing capacity in a high-volume/fine dining/restaurant, or food and beverage outlets.
  • Ability to get along well with others, to demonstrate flexibility and patience, to work as a member of a team.
