Senior Sales Manager
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Sr. Sales Manager. In this role, you will solicit, develop, and maintain accounts in assigned market segments through direct sales efforts, while ensuring that budgeted financial results are achieved and exceeded. This is an on-site position at the Kalahari Resort & Convention Center in Spotsylvania, Virginia.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll drive revenue and long-term partnerships by securing group business and delivering seamless event experiences that enhance guest satisfaction. By collaborating across departments and building strong client relationships, you'll help create memorable stays for guests while supporting a positive, high-performing environment for associates.
Salary Range - $100k - $115k
Key Responsibilities
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through prospecting.
  • Building and nurturing client relationships.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management.

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum five years of hotel and/or resort sales experience with 500+ rooms and extensive meeting space.
  • Proven success in prospecting, developing, and closing group business.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Extensive knowledge of the greater D.C., Richmond, and Maryland area, including existing relationships with key accounts, is preferred.
