Position Overview
The Operator 2 - Spray Tractor plays a vital role in keeping our crops healthy and productive. This position is responsible for operating tractors, applying crop protection chemicals and fertilizers, and ensuring proper recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure safety and performance.
  • Load and transport filled chemical tanks as needed.
  • Apply crop protection sprays, compost, and fertilizers.
  • Record chemical applications in the Trimble system to communicate safe re-entry dates.
  • Follow all company policies and food safety requirements.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.
โ€ข Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 months of agriculture experience, preferably with chemical application knowledge.
  • Experience working with implements and GPS preferred.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
Work Environment
  • Operate tractors for extended periods of time.
  • Squat, crouch, and reach as needed to enter/exit tractors or adjust equipment.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in outdoor conditions, including heat and cold. โ„
