Required Skills & Expectations • Aruba Network Design & Administration – Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Aruba switching, routing, wireless, and data center networking solutions while maintaining security, availability, and performance. • Juniper Routing & Switching Expertise – Design, implement, and support Juniper networking solutions including Junos OS, routing protocols, firewall policies, and secure network architectures. • Data Center & Enterprise Networking – Deep understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VLANs, VRFs, EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, network segmentation, and high-availability architectures. • Cloud Networking Architecture – Experience designing and supporting network connectivity within hybrid cloud environments, including VPC/VNet design, cloud routing, transit gateways, VPNs, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, and network security controls. • Network Security & Compliance – Ability to implement secure network architectures aligned with DoD/Federal requirements, including firewall management, NAC, micro-segmentation, Zero Trust principles, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, and audit readiness activities. • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Works effectively with cloud, security, systems, storage, and application teams to design solutions, resolve incidents, support ATO/RMF activities, and drive infrastructure modernization initiatives.
