Job description

About TSGCo
The Strategy Group Company is a center-right political consulting and public affairs firm with 30 years of work across federal and state campaigns. We operate a fully integrated in-house creative studio that produces broadcast television, connected TV, digital, and social content for the most consequential races in the country and abroad. Our motion graphics team builds the visual identity that moves voters, donors, and decision-makers.
The Role
We are hiring a Motion Graphics Editor to join our creative team. This is a mid-junior role for someone with strong technical fundamentals, a sharp visual eye, and demonstrated fluency in the AI tools reshaping production. You will work across paid television, digital advertising, organic social. You report to the Creative Director and work alongside producers, editors, copywriters, and strategists in an environment where speed and craft both matter.
What You Will Do
  • Design and animate motion graphics for broadcast TV, CTV, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, and programmatic placements
  • Cut master spots into 60, 30, 15, and 6 second versions, plus vertical formats for mobile-first delivery
  • Produce rapid-response content under tight turnarounds, including same-day opposition responses during debate windows and breaking news cycles
  • Build lower thirds, bugs, end cards, and FCC-compliant disclaimers for political broadcast spots
  • Create sizzle reels, pitch videos, and storyboards for new business presentations
  • Integrate TSGCo's internal AI products (Storyboard Generator, Graphics Generator) into production workflows
  • Maintain brand and visual consistency across multi-asset campaigns

What You Bring

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and the broader Creative Cloud suite
  • Strong working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve for color, Cinema 4D or Blender for 3D, and Audition for audio
  • Demonstrated fluency with current AI generation and post tools, including Runway, Kling, Sora, Veo, Luma Dream Machine, Pika, ElevenLabs, Topaz Video AI, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, and Suno or Udio
  • A portfolio that shows range across persuasion content, broadcast-quality finish, and short-form vertical
  • Working knowledge of FCC political advertising requirements and broadcast delivery specifications
  • Comfort working under campaign-cycle pressure, including evenings and weekends in the final 60 days before major elections
  • Discretion and judgment when handling sensitive opposition research, internal polling, and pre-release content
  • Alignment with the center-right principles that define our work and our clients
  • Strong communication and the ability to take feedback fast and execute without ego

Bonus
  • Experience cutting on Avid Media Composer
  • Direct campaign experience on House, Senate, gubernatorial, or presidential races
  • Familiarity with broadcast traffic systems and political file requirements

Why TSGCo

You will work alongside senior creative leads who have shaped the visual language of American campaigns for three decades, and you will help write the next chapter of how political advertising gets made.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range $75,000 to $90,000 based on experience, plus performance bonus structure tied to election cycle performance. Full health, dental, and vision coverage. ESOP participation. 401(k) match. Unlimited PTO with mandatory minimums. Equipment provided.
