You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, use research and data to inform design decisions, and champion user-centered design practices throughout the product development lifecycle. This role also provides opportunities to mentor designers and contribute to innovation across customer-facing products and applications.**Responsibilities*** Lead design strategy for a business or product line.* Develop a deep understanding of customer use cases and advocate for customer needs across agile teams.* Create processes that effectively uncover customer needs and product design opportunities.* Partner with UX Research to understand user needs and proactively apply insights to design decisions.* Manage user-centered design deliverables and contribute to product and application strategy.* Use analytics, customer insights, and testing results to inform design and future strategy.* Conduct and iterate user testing in partnership with UX Research teams.* Mentor junior designers and build strong working relationships with technical teams.**Requirements*** Mastery of user-centered design processes.* Mastery of interaction design skills with strong attention to detail.* Proficiency in Human Factors Engineering and user-centered design methodologies.* Ability to summarize and apply data from analytics, customer insights, and research sources.* Experience establishing metrics and using data to guide design decisions.* Expert-level use of design software such as Axure, Sketch, and InVision.* Ability to produce designs across multiple platforms.* Strong problem-solving, innovation, collaboration, and mentoring skills.**Work in a Way That Works for You**We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
