Job description

Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.

Months/Years of Experience: None

 

Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Must have or be able to obtain a Security Clearance. Requires knowledge of principles and practices of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or systems engineering.

 

Desired Qualifications:

Navy and/or Marine Corps related experience is preferred but not required for consideration.

* Ability to manage various aspects of a project to include technical, schedule, and budget.

• Ability to work effectively with customers to define test requirements and objectives.

• Strong communication skills to enable effective written and oral communication with all internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to function independently in a dynamic environment with a diverse team.

 

Skills Needed:

Knowledge and comfort working with electronics.

• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills.

• Attention to detail.

 

Duties: This Junior Engineer will become part of the Precision Fire Control (PFC) program team.

Travel up to 50% of time to offsite vendors and testing facilities.

 

Comments: Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be required as a condition of employment.
