Job description

Job Summary (Junior AVEVA PI Administrator)
- Support and enhance the AVEVA/OSIsoft PI Data Historian infrastructure for Electric, Gas, and Steam Control Centers.
- Administer, configure, and maintain a large-scale PI system (1.5M+ PI tags), ensuring high availability, performance, and disaster recovery.
- Implement and manage HA (High Availability) & DR (Disaster Recovery) solutions for PI Data Archive, PI AF, and PI Vision.
- Develop, commission, and maintain PI dashboards, BI reports, and custom applications using PI System Access technologies (PI SDK, AF SDK, OLEDB, PowerShell).
- Create and manage PI AF Element templates, analytics, notifications, event frames, and interface configurations (including PI API, OPC DA/UA, RDBMS, PI to PI, DNP3).
- Integrate enterprise business systems and operational technologies with the PI system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues, responding to system alerts 24x7x365 as scheduled.
- Design and develop code for Control Center applications (C#, .Net, SQL, SSIS, PowerShell, Power BI).
- Ensure continuous monitoring and proactive system enhancement for PI Historian and related systems.
- Periodically review and update operational procedures and disaster recovery documentation.
- Provide detailed documentation for end-to-end solutions and project work.
- Communicate effectively with project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members; report on project status and issues.
- Follow ITIL processes (ServiceNow experience preferred) and adhere to safety and cybersecurity standards.
- Demonstrate self-motivation, independent learning, and ability to manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Deliver effective presentations and maintain strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Hybrid work schedule: 3 days onsite (Tue-Thurs), 2 days remote (Mon, Fri).
