Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior to Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineering professional who is passionate about solving real-world problems and contributing to a diverse range of innovative and technically challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and analysis of structural systems including conveying equipment, bulk loading/unloading infrastructure, industrial buildings, and process equipment supports
  • Assist with field inspections of heavy industrial equipment and infrastructure at ports, marine terminals, and mining sites
  • Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and construction drawings
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, clients, contractors, and consultants to deliver project solutions
  • Contribute to project planning, coordination, and quality assurance

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with EGBC
  • 0–5 years of relevant structural design experience (industrial or infrastructure sectors preferred)
  • Experience with inspection and repair projects is an asset
  • Proficiency in structural modeling software (e.g., RISA, SAP2000, STAAD)
  • Working knowledge of REVIT and other drafting tools
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid BC driver’s license
