We are seeking an experienced Structural Project Engineer to lead structural design efforts on a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects with our Sacramento office. This role is designed for an engineer with six or more years of experience who is ready to take full ownership of projects from concept through construction, serve as a primary point of contact for clients, and mentor junior engineers on the team. You will apply your deep technical expertise to deliver safe, efficient, and code-compliant structural solutions while helping shape the direction of our Sacramento practice.Â
WhatYou'llDoÂ
Lead structural analysis and design on projects of varying scale and complexity, applying industry-standard software and engineering judgment to deliver sound, efficient solutionsÂ
Own the development of structural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, ensuring full compliance with applicable codes and standardsÂ
Conduct site assessments and evaluations to identify structural requirements and potential challengesÂ
Lead coordination with multidisciplinary teams including architects, MEP engineers, and contractors, driving project alignment and successful executionÂ
Review and approve construction documents, shop drawings, and submittals for structural compliance, providing clear and timely feedbackÂ
Manage construction administration independently, providing technical guidance and resolving on-site structural issues with confidence and authorityÂ
Optimize structural designs for cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and constructabilityÂ
Keep project files and documentation organized and audit-readyÂ
Keep pace with evolving building codes, industry standards, and best practices, and bring that knowledge into your daily workÂ
Present technical findings and recommendations clearly to clients, team members, and stakeholdersÂ

The base salary for this role is competitive, with a range of$95,000 - $120,000, determined by experience, education, and skills.
