Position: Junior Software Engineer

Department: Systems

Office Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 5:00PM (Hybrid)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Junior C# / .NET Developer to join our agile development team and help build and maintain internal and client facing applications. This is an early career role designed for someone who is eager to learn, delves into system basics, enjoys problem solving, and wants hands on experience working with Microsoft .NET technologies under the guidance of experienced engineers. You’ll contribute to real production systems, learn enterprise development practices, and gradually take ownership of features as your skills grow.

Responsibilities

With support from senior developers, you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and unit test desktop and web applications using C# and VB .NET
  • Participate in an agile team across the software development lifecycle
  • Help build tools that automate internal workflows and improve operational efficiency
  • Assist in developing secure applications that allow external users to interact with backend systems
  • Work with databases to read and write application data
  • Contribute ideas during design reviews and team discussions
  • Learn and apply best practices for clean code, security, and maintainability

Required qualifications:    

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • 0–2 years of professional, internship, or academic experience with C# and .NET
  • Understanding of object oriented programming concepts
  • Basic experience with one or more of the following:
    •  C# / VB/ .NET
    • WinForm, WPF and XAML or other desktop UI frameworks
    • ASP.NET / Web API / WCF
  • Some experience working with databases (SQL, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, or similar)
  • Familiarity with version control (Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps/TFS)
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow as a developer
