Summary:

  • In the aerospace (Aero) domain, a PTF Test Cell Engineer typically works in a Propulsion Test Facility (PTF) or Product Test Facility, where aircraft engines, propulsion systems, and aerospace components are tested to ensure they meet performance, reliability, and certification requirements.

Job Description:

  • The PTF Test Cell Engineer is responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the PTF (Powerunit Test Facility) for GT-Hybrid system development.
  • The facility is a complex, integrated test system manufactured by Enorise (formerly FEV), incorporating Morphee control/automation software and A&D measurement systems.
  • This role requires hands-on technical capability to operate and maintain these systems in a safe and stable manner.

Experience with:

  • Enorise / FEV test systems (or similar integrated test benches)
  • Morphee or equivalent test automation/control software
  • A&D measurement/data acquisition systems
  • Experience with hybrid, gas turbine, or high-voltage systems
  • Complex test systems (dyno, HV systems, etc.)
  • Data acquisition systems
  • Basic understanding of control systems and industrial safety
