Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and evolution of Bentley's Civil Engineering software portfolio.


Core Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software components for Bentley's Civil Engineering applications.
  • Take ownership of features and functionality from design through delivery and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions, helping drive technical decisions and best practices.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and extensible code using modern software engineering principles.
  • Create and execute unit and integration tests to ensure product quality and reliability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and C#.
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles, software architecture, and design patterns.

  • Concevoir, developper, tester et maintenir des composantes logicielles pour les applications d'ingenierie civile de Bentley.
  • Assumer la responsabilite des fonctionnalites, de leur conception jusqu'a leur livraison et leur soutien continu.
  • Collaborer avec des equipes d'ingenierie reparties a l'echelle mondiale afin de livrer des solutions evolutives et de grande qualite.
  • Participer aux discussions d'architecture et de conception en contribuant aux decisions techniques et aux meilleures pratiques.
  • Developper un code propre, maintenable et extensible en appliquant les principes modernes de l'ingenierie logicielle.
  • Creer et executer des essais unitaires et d'integration afin d'assurer la qualite et la fiabilite des produits.
  • Diagnostiquer des problemes techniques complexes et effectuer des analyses des causes fondamentales des defauts logiciels.
  • Realiser des revues de code et fournir une retroaction constructive et applicable a ses collegues.
  • Contribuer aux initiatives d'amelioration continue liees a la qualite, a la performance, a la productivite des developpeurs et aux processus d'ingenierie.

Qualifications requises

  • Baccalaureat ou maitrise en informatique, en genie logiciel ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Plus de 8 ans d'experience professionnelle en developpement logiciel.
  • Excellente maitrise du C++ et du C#.
  • Solide comprehension des principes de conception orientee objet, de l'architecture logicielle et des modeles de conception (design patterns).
  • Experience demontree dans la conception et le developpement de systemes logiciels complexes de qualite production.
  • Excellentes competences en debogage, en resolution de problemes et en analyse.
  • Capacite a travailler de maniere autonome tout en collaborant efficacement avec des equipes distribuees.
  • Excellentes aptitudes a la communication ecrite et verbale.
