We are hiring a Junior developer with proven experience in Python and/or Go for the Observability team. You will help build a cloud‐native monitoring stack using best‐in‐class open‐source tools to deliver tight, scalable insights to users and admins. Location Remote – EMEA and Americas.

The role is fully remote with occasional global travel (2–4 weeks per year) to team sprints and events. Responsibilities Collaborate proactively with a globally distributed team. Write, test, and document high‐quality code for new features.

Debug issues and engage with the open‐source community. Review code produced by other engineers. Represent Canonical at conferences and internal workshops.

Work from home with global travel 2–4 weeks per year. Qualifications Love technology and working with brilliant people. Value soft skills; passionate, enterprising, thoughtful, and self‐motivated.
