Remote with limited travel paid for by the client for onsite visits to Los Alamos, NM

Will be writing this system (temporary support to get this up and running): Monolith system developed over past decade, breaking up into microservices via spring platform

Angular, splitting up the application for more functionality / usability

  • No code review process at this time; fisheye may be used in the future
  • Gitlab repository
  • Podman or Docker will be used for containerization

The position will need to be filled with a highly motivated individual who is able to work well under pressure. Possibly working on several applications at once in a highly agile structure while maintaining the laboratory's high security mandates. A strong background in Java, specifically the Spring framework is required. In addition, high level knowledge with Angular and MySQL databases is desired. Must be comfortable and willing to carry out test driven development.
