As a Junior Site/Civil Engineer, you will be required to provide engineering deliverables and technical support.  The main duties and responsibilities as part of this position include: 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering scopes including earthworks, grading, roadworks, underground utilities, and stormwater management across diverse site development projects. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including structural, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines, to ensure integrated and high-quality project outcomes. 

  • Perform technical tasks related to site layout, drainage systems, utility coordination, and surface modeling. 

  • Support the development of detailed design packages, including calculations, specifications, and cost estimates. 

  • Prepare and review engineering drawings and documentation based on design inputs, field data, and project requirements. 

  • Participate in site investigations, surveys, and data collection to inform design decisions. 

  • Assist in preparing permit applications and supporting documentation for regulatory approvals. 

  • Contribute to quantity take-offs and bill of materials for civil projects. 

  • Maintain project documentation and assist in tracking progress against schedules and budgets. 

  • Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices relevant to civil engineering and site development. 

  • Provide technical support to Senior Engineers and Designers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. 

Qualifications: 

  • A recent or soon to be graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering 

  • Understanding of inter-discipline requirements for the tasks at hand. 

  • Familiarity with 3D modeling and 2D drafting, will train in 2D and 3D Bently applications  

  • Understanding design concept for roads, earthworks, water management and drainage. 

  • Problem solving attitude. 

  • Ability to work in a team-environment.
