Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• 10+ years of overall SAP experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP MDG-BP Functional experience.
• Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP MDG implementations with MDG-BP.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Business Partner architecture.
• Expertise in:
• Business Partner Governance
• Customer and Supplier Master Data
• Data Models and Change Request Types
• BRF+ Rules Framework
• Workflow Configuration
• Data Replication Framework (DRF)
• Data Quality and Governance Processes
• Experience integrating MDG with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, CRM, Ariba, and non-SAP systems.
• Strong understanding of master data governance best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
MDG-BP Functional Design & Configuration
• Design and configure SAP MDG-BP solutions for Business Partner, Customer, and Supplier master data.
• Configure data models, entity types, UI configurations, and governance workflows.
• Define and implement business validation, derivation, and duplicate check rules.
• Configure and support Business Partner change request processes.
Data Governance & Quality
• Establish governance policies and approval workflows.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance across enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards and Business Process Owners to maintain master data standards.
• Identify and resolve data quality and governance issues.
Integration & Replication
• Configure and support DRF replication processes.
• Work with technical teams on IDoc, SOA, CPI, and API integrations.
• Manage BP synchronization between SAP and external applications.
Business Process Consulting
• Conduct workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and governance frameworks.
• Support fit-gap analysis and solution design activities.
Testing, Cutover & Hypercare
• Develop SIT and UAT test scenarios.
• Support data migration, cutover planning, and go-live activities .
• Provide post-production support and continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
• SAP MDG Certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transformation programs.
• Exposure to SAP Data Migration projects.
• Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Experience with SAP Customer/Vendor Integration (CVI).
• Familiarity with SAP Information Steward and Data Services (BODS).
