About the Role

TechBridge is seeking a seasoned Lead Architect who has expertise in leading all levels of technology consulting projects, including sales, requirements, design, development, delivery, and support both for client-facing and internal projects. The Lead Architect will possess a deep understanding of how software can be used to solve nonprofit business issues.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of Salesforce experience, including experience launching complex Salesforce deployments. The candidate must be self-driven, have strong critical thinking skills, and have extensive experience developing technical solutions to real-world business problems and translating technical challenges and solutions to leadership. This role is adept at identifying the core need or problem to be solved, which is often different from the problem stated.

Core Competencies

  • Proven ability to lead the identification and the technical approach to be used on customer projects and manage the system development process including the development of a strategic plan, systems analysis, technical design, configuration, testing, and acceptance of a system and/or application (includes the creation of all required documentation)
  • Experienced in change management, understanding the system development lifecycle and project management
  • Proven experience in data R&D or an associated development background
  • Extensive agile (Scrum/XP) and traditional software delivery experience in global/offshore delivery models
  • Designs software architecture of given domain
  • Manages and enhances software/data architecture best practices, standards, patterns, and reference architectures to design for the given domain
  • Leads with the design and development of project and deployment roadmaps
  • Performs specific analysis/design efforts as needed and constructs responses for consumption at senior stakeholder levels
  • Experience in Information Technology (IT) delivery or architecture, including experience as a Data Modeller and/or Database Administrator, application design and programming
  • Experienced in financial reporting, specifically the design of a reporting architecture that facilitates the creation, publication, and distribution of reports both on a regular basis and ad-hoc (beneficial)
  • Able to demonstrate Leadership skills to manage ad-hoc analysis or design deep dive
  • Provide fourth-level technical support, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and restoring systems to service

Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-sales estimates
  • Gather requirements from client interviews, meetings, whiteboarding & documentation analysis to provide oversight of the solution throughout the project; ensure clients can make educated decisions on recommended services/products for sign-off
  • Process design (flow mapping & scenario design) & document business workflows and requirements
  • Solution design including object model, security, reports, custom APEX requirements
  • Identification/selection of products, apps, and/or third-party tools necessary for a solution
  • Identify appropriate options to meet both financial constraints and business needs
  • Solution implementation Salesforce.com configuration of data models, workflows/process builders/flows, security configuration of profiles/permission sets/sharing rules, and configuration of 3rd party AppExchange packages
  • Manage developers and jr. consultants

  • Acts as a strategic technology leader in orchestrating how technical solutions meet business needs and ensure a cohesive solution is created

  • Oversees the process of defining software standards and establishing policies in collaboration with other IT disciplines and within the constraints of overall company standards

  • Organizes appropriately and presents ideas, options, plans initiatives, roadmaps, business cases, and other pertinent information required by senior leadership to make effective decisions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform, which should include: Lightning Components using the Lightning Design System framework, Apex, Apex data loader, and declarative platform tools. (Process Builder, Visual Workflow, Lightning App Builder, etc.)
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and be creative within a team
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing (SaaS, PaaS) and Salesforce, either through work with industry participants or consulting for the industry
  • A minimum of 7 years experience with Salesforce.com APEX data loader.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 10 years) of work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build and sustain internal and external relationships and to articulate and communicate with influence
  • Strong written and presentation skills; ability to have a highly technical conversation with IT teams as well as simplify complex topics to non-technical audiences
  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Ability to manage multiple project timelines and meeting schedules
  • Strong self-management and self-direction to manage a portfolio of projects and customers
  • Experience managing employees
  • An understanding of the concept of embedding simplicity in everything
  • Experience with project billing, invoicing, and accounting

  • Knowledge of Exponent Case Management (ECM) is a plus
  • Masters Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Business
