Job description

We are looking for front end software engineers to join a large team that is providing lifecycle O&M for a scalable NextGen space resiliency / flight safety program.  This is an incredible opportunity to join a highly professional team that built a COMPLETE SYSTEM (architecture, platform, tool/capability, microservices – full with integration, verification, and validation.)  The ideal candidates will be hands-on developers and engineers. 
Requirements/Must Have:
  • Experience with Front-End web development, including JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS, or HTML
  • Experience with the Vue.js framework
  • Experience with Agile development, including SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban
  • Experience with creating REST calls with a Node.js library, including Express.js or Axios
  • Experience with supporting junior and mid-level engineers
  • Experience with designing new UI features
  • Experience with unit testing
  • Knowledge of REST APIs
  • Experience developing, managing, and securing containers (Dockers and ContainerD)
 Education/Experience - Must Have Requirements:
  • Senior Level:
    • 10 years of experience in either (a) software engineering (b) software development or (c) systems engineering for information technology systems 
    • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field. 
  • Mid Level:  
    • 5 years of experience in software engineering or software development for information technology systems 
    • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field.

  • TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
  • Ability to work at contractor facility in Chantilly, VA or Herndon, VA
