Labcorp is recruiting a Lead Software Quality Assurance Analyst for a team in Durham, NC.
The Lead Software Quality Assurance Analyst helps deliver the quality, efficiency and performance expectations of enterprise-level applications and systems. These include multi-platform software products that are web-based, API/service oriented with middleware integration components and cross-functional/discipline capabilities. Candidates for this position are experienced, hands-on and self-motivated individuals who can work collaboratively in a continuous integration environment. This role involves working closely with business analysts, software developers and other IT roles to understand complex domains and products. The Test Automation Engineer will focus on contributing to the development of automated and functional integration tests as well as end-to-end tests for overall system validation.
Location: Durham, NC
Applicants who live within 35 miles of Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in office days per week in Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Organize and manage assigned tasks, provide project estimations and perform risk assessments and planning based on the work assignment.
  • Analyze complex projects and initiatives and determine logical validation approach.
  • Ability to derive testing strategies and approaches from architecture diagrams, flow diagrams or design mocks.
  • Self-managing with the ability to control the analysis and quality processes throughout the software lifecycle while continuously driving quality into the overall work process
  • Ability to support medium/large size requests with minimal oversight.
  • Serve as an individual contributor in a lead capacity on mid-level projects or initiatives.
  • Lead/manage testing strategies that span multiple business areas and/or application teams
  • Ability to recognize risks and mitigation strategies in software validation or workflow designs.
  • Serve as mentor to junior level SQA analysts.
  • Able to engage with various stakeholders (operations, IT, Vendors) on strategy, approach, testing efforts and issues/mitigation strategies.
  • Able to analytically and critically assess projects or initiatives and identify risk areas.
  • Communicate with all levels of IT and business to report status, risks, mitigations, etc.
  • Ensure alignment of solutions with the overall enterprise goals.
  • Participate in the interview process for jr level hires.
  • Plus- Working experience with AI Software tools and techniques into automation process

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6 or more years' of software test automation experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 or more years' of the software development lifecycle, methodologies, standards and practices experience
  • 6 or more years' of advanced experience with Management/Document Repository tools (Jira, ALM, Zephyr, etc.)
  • 6 or more years' of advanced technical skills working with IDEs, programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, C#, VB Script)
  • 6 or more years' advanced skills working with automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, UFT, Cucumber, TestNG etc.)
  • 6 or more years' advanced skills working with API testing tools (PostMan, RestAssure etc.)
  • 6 or more years' of advanced experience in writing SQL queries.
  • Current or prior LabCorp experience

  • Possess project management, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Ability to take direction and work independently under minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
