Turing is looking for candidates with strong experience in mechanical engineering, system design, and production optimization.

Role overview:
  • In this role, you will contribute to projects that help evaluate and enhance AI systems using your engineering knowledge and analytical reasoning skills.
  • No prior AI experience is required.
  • These projects will help you explore how AI can be leveraged to improve technical reasoning, engineering accuracy, and design efficiency across manufacturing workflows.

What does day-to-day look like:
  • Design and solve real-world mechanical and manufacturing engineering problems to test AI reasoning.
  • Write clear, structured solutions covering mechanical design, materials selection, failure analysis, and production methods.
  • Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with engineering principles.
  • Collaborate with researchers to refine AI understanding of simulation reasoning, calculations, and industry standards (ASME, ISO, ASTM).

Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Design Engineer, or Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) and engineering analysis methods (FEA, CFD) preferred.
  • Strong English communication and technical reasoning skills.
