Job description

We are looking for dedicated ESOL instructors to teach English Language classes to adult learners in South Brooklyn. Instructors will work with small cohorts of students, guiding them through the entire 600-hour program from Beginner to Advanced levels. Classes are primarily conducted remotely via Zoom, supported by Canvas LMS, with required on-campus activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach English Language classes to adult learners using the Side by Side textbook series (Books 1-4 over seven levels).
Build and maintain continuity with the same cohort of students throughout the program.
Conduct remote classes via Zoom, with monthly on-campus proctoring of exams and attendance verification.
Participate in mandatory on-campus faculty meetings, typically held on the first Thursday of each month.
Ensure compliance with BPSS licensing requirements.
Qualifications:
Must possess a BPSS license for teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

Compensation:

Work Environment:
Hybrid remote position with monthly on-campus requirements.
Small class sizes, capped at 20 students.
