Job Summary (Sr. Statistical Programmer)
Remote (W2 Only)
- Lead statistical programming activities for multiple clinical research projects in pharmaceutical or CRO settings.
- Utilize SAS (and other statistical software) to conduct statistical analyses, develop and validate analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures.
- Coordinate, supervise, and mentor programming teams, providing coaching and training to junior staff and new hires.
- Serve as a statistical programming lead on internal project teams, managing programming, verification, and documentation tasks.
- Ensure efficient, high-quality, and accurate data reporting and project deliverables, adhering to project timelines and priorities.
- Design, implement, validate, and maintain advanced project reporting applications in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the department and company in client meetings and presentations, ensuring positive relationships with sponsors and vendors.
- Communicate accurate and timely project status updates to team members and management.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of programming processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Maintain awareness of project tasks and proactively communicate progress, issues, and priorities to management and project teams.
- Requires a Master’s degree in Biostatistics or related field (or equivalent experience) and 8+ years of relevant statistical programming experience.
