En dirigeant des stratégies de test complexes, en encadrant des analystes QA juniors et en menant des initiatives pour améliorer les outils et processus QA, vous garantirez que nos logiciels offrent constamment une qualité, une fiabilité et une performance exceptionnelles à nos clients.

Responsabilités essentielles

  •  Définir l’approche de test pour des domaines produits complexes ou à fort impact.
  •  Diriger les activités QA pour les principales versions, en veillant à l’alignement avec les objectifs et échéanciers.
  •  Piloter des initiatives avancées d’automatisation des tests pour améliorer la couverture et l’efficacité.

Qualifications et expérience

  •  Baccalauréat en informatique, technologies de l’information ou expérience équivalente.

Working closely alongside the Software QA Lead, you will help define the QA approach for major product areas, collaborating with engineers, architects, and product teams to embed quality into the development lifecycle.

By driving complex test strategies, mentoring more junior QA analysts, and leading initiatives to enhance QA tools and processes, you will ensure that our software consistently delivers exceptional quality, reliability, and performance to our customers.

Essential Responsibilities & Accountabilities

The Senior Software QA Analyst II ensures that complex product areas meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, supporting our customers with reliable and efficient products.

The Senior Software QA Analyst II will:

  •  Define the test approach for complex or high-impact product areas.
  •  Lead QA activities for major releases, ensuring alignment with product goals and timelines.
  •  Steer advanced test automation initiatives to improve coverage and efficiency.
  •  Mentor more junior QA analysts, sharing expertise and guiding their technical growth.
  •  Collaborate with architects and other leads to ensure testability is considered in all designs.
  •  Evaluate and recommend testing tools and frameworks for specific project needs.
  •  Champion QA process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy and reporting.

People Management / Leadership Responsibilities: 

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  •  Support onboarding new team hires to project testing and quality processes and standards.

Coaching & Development

  •  Provide mentoring and support for more junior QA analysts.

Communication & Collaboration

  •  Facilitate open and transparent communication within the team and across departments.

Qualifications and Experience

To successfully perform the essential responsibilities of the role, individuals must possess the following level of education and experience, or equivalent combination.  In addition, the role requires the following certifications, knowledge, skills, and where applicable, physical requirements necessary for the position.

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
  •  5+ years’ experience in software QA roles, ideally with leadership of testing on complex projects.
  •  Strong understanding of QA strategies, test design and automation frameworks.
  •  Proven track record of leading test planning and execution for major product areas.
  •  Experience designing and implementing automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
  •  Ability to mentor and support QA analysts and software engineers to encourage success.
  •  Strong collaboration skills, with experience working alongside architects, engineers and product teams.
  •  Skilled in risk-based testing and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  •  Excellent communication and documentation skills, particularly in delivery of test strategies, plans and results.
  •  Ability to evaluate and recommend testing tools and methodologies to improve QA processes.
  •  Comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

English Language Requirement

Functional proficiency in spoken and written English is required for this position. This requirement is necessary because the successful candidate will:

  •  regularly collaborate with colleagues, teams, and partners located outside Quebec whose working language is English;
