Work Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)
The Lead QA Automation Test Engineer will lead the design, development, and execution of automated and manual testing solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This role partners closely with development and agile scrum teams to define testing strategies, automate acceptance criteria, identify defects, and promote best practices across the organization.
Test Automation & API Testing – Selenium, Cypress, Postman; REST/SOAP services
Test Management & Tools – Jira, qTest, HP ALM
Programming & Data Skills – JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL (advanced querying)
5–7 years of hands-on software quality assurance experience
Strong experience designing and executing automated test frameworks
Experience with version control systems (e.g., SVN)
Solid understanding of web services and API testing
Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams
Strong communication skills and comfort aligning testing goals across teams
Healthcare or claims domain experience
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
ISTQB Certification
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree in a technical or quantitative field preferred
Lead the design, development, maintenance, and execution of automated test scripts
Translate acceptance criteria into automated and manual test cases
Execute functional, regression, and API testing
Review test automation code and promote best practices
Analyze test results, document defects, and verify resolutions
