Job Description
Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Develop business intelligence solutions across Fees and Commissions Operations using capabilities such as Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, and Python. Provide end-to-end reporting and self-service analytics tools which produce a variety of key metrics related to Fees and Commissions Operations. Build and streamline ETL processes which integrate Global Markets data platforms. Manage business intelligence product SDLC within globally distributed Alteryx and Tableau server environments. Develop, prioritize, and communicate project plans end-to-end using JIRA; mentor junior developers on Agile development. Provide mentorship and feedback to junior team members, while managing competing priorities from a wide range of senior stakeholders. Partner with engineering teams to develop scalable business processes and automation to support Goldman Sachs clients. Develop and maintain high-performance dashboards using advanced Tableau (level of detail functions, context filters, and data blending).
Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience (with a Master's degree) OR five (5) years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree) with: process Automation project development using tools like Alteryx, Informatica, SSIS for data transformation; developing and maintaining high-performance databases using advanced SQL (subqueries, window functions, and data design language), data architecture, and administration; business Intelligence and Digital Transformation; software Development Lifecycle utilizing GitHub to deploy solutions; JIRA project management tools, including core functions such as Epics, Stories, Tasks, and Story Points; and data Visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlikview.
