Overview
LMI is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support our team within the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Logistics office. Communication with the organization's senior-level staff and collaboration with a broad range of personnel is required. The position will be located at the Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities
  • Junior Project Managers assist the government in supporting the daily operations of the project, with an emphasis on:
    • meeting project/report deliverable deadlines;
    • managing to completion assigned projects; and
    • tracking deliverables, action items, and other requests and managing them to close-out.
  • Responsibilities will include:
    • Develop and manage a process for providing routine (weekly, monthly, etc.) and 'one- time' reports to senior DASW, Logistics leadership and others.
    • Develop/modify templates.
    • Identify and provide critical target dates to stakeholders.
    • Collect data from multiple sources.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies between sources and other documents/reports.
    • Prepare draft and final report(s), including formatting and document Quality/Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) for submission.
    • Organize files, presentations, and other written communications/documents so they are readily accessible to respond to subsequent/future reporting requests.
    • Work daily with project team and DASW LOG leadership to identify and respond to requests for new information/reports with rapid turn-around times.
    • Develop and manage a tracking tool for project tasks and coordinate completion of the activities.
    • Manage assigned meetings, including drafting agendas, handling logistics (invites, audio/video, etc.), taking meeting notes, and following up on action items to resolution.
    • Prepare advanced PowerPoint slides for presentations, including generation of figures and tables from data, importing tables, etc.

Qualifications
  • Clearance: Top Secret/SCI.
  • Bachelor's degree is required from an accredited college/university.
  • Minimum of five (5) years supporting a federal government customer.
  • Executive level support experience, experience within DoD and other federal agencies.
  • Experience with project management tools, such as MicroSoft Planner or Kanban is required.
  • Experience in leading and providing technical guidance and direction involving multiple projects of high complexity.
  • Must have experience in managing customer expectations and working directly with customers.
  • Must have outstanding customer service skills including initiative, judgement, creativity, flexibility, and confidence.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task across multiple tasks.

Target salary range: $110,000-$120,000
