Responsibilities
In the role of Highway/Roads Project Manager, we'll count on you to:
  • Manage Projects - specifically WisDOT projects, and Local Program Projects.
  • Provide technical expertise, in particular on WisDOT Transportation Projects
  • Oversee the work of CAD Designers, and junior staff and mid-level staff
  • Mentoring of junior and mid-level staff
  • Pursue projects, assist with proposals
  • Assist in managing client relationships
  • Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Assist with project management responsibilities as Deputy PM (Optional)
  • Attend events and conferences (Optional)
  • Other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications
  • 8-10+ years experience
  • WisDOT project management experience
  • Civil3D Design and Modeling Experience

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 7 years related experience
  • A minimum of 2 years project management experience
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
