Job Description

As a Junior Project Manager, you will analyze traditional and social media data, write and present reports, maintain client relationships, ensure data integrity, review coders' work and provide feedback, and develop sector expertise. A successful JPM is a self-starter requiring minimal day-to-day supervision and should collaborate well with colleagues. He/She works with a complexity of problems solved is easy to moderately complex with guidance and should be well-versed in all aspects of the platform(s) required for the work

Salary range: $45000 - $55000 per year.

Responsibilities

        Contribute articles and ideas to white papers and in-depth research

        Coordinate with PMs / Teams internally and across offices regarding client work, media sets, coding status, etc. (as appropriate)

        Sector knowledge allows to assist on other accounts

        Can clean and fix standard data

        Comprehends variable and metric definitions

        Understand project methodology

        Understanding of data sourcing (dictionary, stream, etc.)

        Demonstrate ability to independently edit portal backend filters and toolbars

        Repurpose existing syntaxes for customized reporting needs

        Observe and implement more efficient software features and functions

        Troubleshoot data issues/missing content

        Complete existing assigned reports, in a timely manner, with attention to detail. Headlines are relevant and insightful

        Participate in fielding requests and creating special and ad-hoc reports, with heavy guidance from SPM/Director

        Field day-to-day client questions and requests and respond appropriately after necessary conference with SPM/Director for escalation

        Able to participate in client calls/meetings with useful contributions

        Lead analysts and answer daily questions and workflow edits

        Lead team meetings and complete analyst reviews

        1-2 years experience of media reporting

        Can confidently speak up and offer opinions in team setting
