For the PM role theyโ€™re looking for a seasoned Enterprise IT Project Managerโ€”not a QA Managerโ€”who has successfully delivered enterprise application implementations involving significant testing. Someone who understands test automation initiatives, can lead vendors and cross-functional teams, communicate confidently with executives, manage budgets and schedules, and coach junior PMs. Oracle/ERP experience is a major advantage, but the biggest differentiator is someone who has owned complex enterprise implementations from planning through go-live

This position will initially support to efforts:

Test Automation Project โ€“ A senior project manager is needed to manage the project (scope, schedule, budget, vendors, assigned team member in the business and IT)in the implementation of a new system(Opkey)that will enable automated tested for the Oracle system(i.e.,HCMS, Finance, EAM,iSupplier, iProcurement, OLM, Inventory).A vendor will be engaged. A large testing initiative will berequired. The process tomaintainthe test repository should be defined.

Training of a junior project coordinator โ€“An existing team member for a custom development project has transitioned into the role of project coordinator. The area of responsibility isfor the junior project coordinatoris focused purely on the business, supporting withtask management,end userdocumentation, demonstrations to external parties, UAT preparation with internal and external parties,training for all users, and go-live. The candidate filling this job would need to quickly learn the approach of the PMO and mentor the junior project coordinator in her daily tasks.

Other projects could be assigned based on the availability of the above initiatives.

Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, reporting, and overseeing the delivery of software and technology projects while following the established Enterprise Products IT project management methodology. The Project Manager will support these job functions: Project Planning & Execution
  • Lead technical projects from initiation through implementation, including RFP development, vendor selection, proof of concept, requirements gathering, design, development/configuration, testing, integration, data conversion, user acceptance, go-live, and project close.
  • Manage projects across diverse technology domains such as enterprise applications, infrastructure upgrades, data platforms, digital transformation initiatives, and IT support operations.
  • Coordinate and oversee the utilization of shared resources across multiple projects, ensuring effective allocation and prioritizationrequirements are met
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, secure and organize resources, coordinate project activities, monitor budgets, assess dependencies, and manage project issues.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust resources and priorities accordingly.
  • Assess project dependencies, risks, budget constraints, and resource conflicts to ensure successful implementation, including contingency planning.
  • Support continuous improvement of project management methodologies and tools.
IT Leadership & Technical Alignment with the Business
  • Ensure all team members are alignedonthe business requirements, design documents, and any other technical requirements. This can include current and future process documentation.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of both business and technical issues to manage resources and deliverables effectively.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure solutions meet operational and strategic needs.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Build and lead high-performing teams by leveraging individual strengths, technology, and organizational processes.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across IT, operations, vendors, and compliance to ensure seamless execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience managing multiple, complex projects.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading project teams using both internal and external resources.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, influencing, organizational, and facilitation skills.
  • Proficient in both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Azure DevOps (TFS), Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio.

  • Coordinating with the Oracle application IT groups and vendor to ensure decisions are being reached and issues resolved.
