About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading European manufacturer of high-end furniture and architectural wall systems, is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join its U.S. team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a background in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or Construction who is interested in developing a career in project management. The Junior Project Manager will work closely with the Senior Project Manager in supporting projects from planning through onsite installation.


Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination and execution of furniture and architectural wall/partition projects.
  • Participate in site surveys, field measurements, project meetings, and onsite coordination.
  • Assist with and supervise installations.
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, general contractors, dealers, and internal teams.
  • Communicate site conditions, technical requirements, and project updates to the Design and Project Management teams.
  • Assist with estimating, budgeting, technical presentations, and project documentation.
  • Review and prepare CAD drawings and technical details.
  • Coordinate with international manufacturing teams throughout project execution.
  • Travel to project sites throughout the U.S. as needed.


Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred; strong recent graduates may also be considered.
  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Exposure to contract furniture, architectural walls/partitions, commercial interiors, or construction projects strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction sites and technical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Hands-on, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20–30%.
