To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Jr. Program Manager located in Columbia, SC.

Reporting to the Director of Program Management the Jr. Program Manager is responsible for supportingthe management of thecross-functional teamresources and support areas; for the delivery of products and services according to the client's requirements; adding value to Flex and its customers. Identify the needs of the client; negotiate terms of its implementation and transmit them to the operation of the project.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Supports the PM on the generation of reporting and analyses information for resolution with the client (materials, quality, testing, etc.)
  • Supports PM in monitoring the actions generated by the opportunities or needs of the project to comply with the internal metrics and/or customer
  • Helps PM to coordinate and/or escalate the resolution of operation problems where any of its projects does not have sufficient resources to meet the commitments previously established.
  • Coordinates with the cross-functional team (CFT) the collection of data for the preparation of presentations in General or for Quarterly Business Reviews with the customer.
  • Coordinates the resolution of problems or extraordinary situations with shipments of product
  • Coordinated and/or escalates the resolution of systemic problems or processes in the supply chain.
  • Coordinates and/or escalates, with the CFT, the troubleshooting of delivery on time products (OTD)
  • Coordinates with the CFT the evaluation and demand load as well as the response of the operation (Material Shortages, Can Do, E&O, capacity, plan shipments, etc.) that is communicated to the customer.
  • Helps the PM on the relationship with the customer through monthly or quarterly reviews, or as needed, to communicate deliveries, open commitments, or overall progress of the account.
  • Supports the PM to coordinates with the CFT the actions necessary for compliance with the targets agreed with the customer (quality, testing, materials, processes, etc.)

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Typically requires completion of high school, vocational training, or equivalent with experience in the use of computer applications plus 2 years of general administrative experience.
  • Intermediate Excel skills required
  • Computer server experience is a plus
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to write routine reports, business correspondence and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, associates, customers and vendors.
