Job Summary

The Baseball Research and Development team of the Los Angeles Dodgers is dedicated to building software applications and platforms that support analysis, scouting, player evaluation, and player development.

The Junior Product Designer supports the creation of high-quality user experiences by contributing to UI design, UX analysis, and research.ย  In this role, you will develop high-fidelity prototypes, tactical design deliverables, and apply existing design system standards while identifying opportunities for improvement.ย  Youโ€™ll reference established user research, document findings, using current templates, and participate in usability testing to help uncover and communicate issues.ย  As an early-career designer, youโ€™ll focus on learning team processes, observing peer practices, and growing your design craft.ย  This role may also participate in recruiting activities as needed.

This position offers the unique opportunity to leverage design to increase the impact of baseball analytics, where the results of your work are visible on and off the field.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

UI & Visual Design

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Create high-fidelity prototypes associated with function-level problems

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย  Utilize existing design system documentation and identify possible improvements

UX & Analysis
