Job description

ROLE SUMMARY We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to serve as a technical authority and hands-on builder within our enterprise Microsoft 365 environment. This role requires someone who can own the full development lifecycle of complex Power Apps and Power Automate solutions, architect REST API integrations, and help lead and govern our Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE). The right candidate is equally comfortable writing intricate flow logic as they are advising stakeholders, mentoring peers, and enforcing platform governance at scale. Experience operating in classified or government environments is expected, and an active Top Secret clearance is required before start. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Application Development * Architect, design, and deliver complex Power Apps solutions spanning canvas apps, multi-screen enterprise applications, and component libraries supporting mission-critical operations across the organization. * Build and maintain advanced Power Automate workflows featuring complex conditional logic, parallel execution paths, error handling, retry logic, and reusable child flows at enterprise scale. * Design, develop, and consume REST APIs and custom connectors to integrate Power Platform solutions with external systems, Azure services, and third-party data sources using JSON, OData, and OAuth. * Serve as the lead technical resource for complex integrations involving SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL/Azure DB, Microsoft Graph API, and other enterprise data connectors. Center of Excellence & Governance * Lead and support the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) establishing and enforcing DLP policies, environment strategy, ALM practices, solution packaging, and governance frameworks across Dev/Test/Prod environments. * Conduct solution reviews, code walkthroughs, and architecture assessments to ensure platform solutions meet security, compliance, and performance standards before moving to production. * Drive adoption of reusable solution patterns, shared component libraries, and documented development standards to reduce duplication and improve delivery velocity across the team. * Monitor platform health, automation reliability, and capacity utilization; proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks before they impact operations. Collaboration & Enablement * Partner with stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to translate mission requirements into scalable, production-ready Power Platform solutions. * Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair development sessions, and knowledge-sharing - acting as the team's go-to technical resource. * Author and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, solution design records, and governance artifacts to ensure long-term platform sustainability and audit readiness. * Experience with PowerShell scripting in an M365/enterprise environment, including SharePoint Online administration (PnP PowerShell), Power Platform automation via the Power Apps and Power Automate admin modules, and Exchange Online management through the ExchangeOnlineManagement module (Exchange is nice to have). * Nice to have: Develop and support Power Pages portals for external-facing web experiences and citizen engagement use cases. * Nice to have: Design and develop Model-Driven Apps leveraging Dataverse tables, business rules, relationships, and security roles for structured, data-heavy use cases . MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS ✓ Active Top Secret clearance prior to start date ✓ 6+ years of hands-on Power Apps and Power Automate development in an enterprise or government setting ✓ Proven ability to build and consume REST APIs and custom connectors within the Power Platform ✓ Demonstrated experience architecting complex, multi-system workflows with advanced error handling and logic ✓ Experience contributing to or leading a Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE)
