Job description

RPA Developer II – Power BI DeveloperSouthern Company Services is seeking a Power BI Developer (RPA Developer II) with 1–3 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling, with the ability to transform business requirements into insightful visualizations and analytics.

Key responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.Gather business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions. Build data models and develop DAX and Power Query (M) queries. Integrate data from SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud data sources. Optimize dashboard performance and manage data refreshes. Implement row-level security and workspace permissions. Troubleshoot reporting issues and document data models and report logic.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights. Required qualifications include:1–3 years of Power BI development experience. Experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query. Strong proficiency with DAX and M Query. Experience building dashboards and reports from scratch. Solid understanding of data modeling concepts. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred qualifications include: Experience with SQL Server, Excel, and SharePoint.

Familiarity with Power Automate and Power Apps. Experience working with large datasets and dashboard optimization. Microsoft Power BI certification (preferred).Experience with utility industry data or GIS visualizations is a plus. Preferred skills include: Power BI
