Georgia System Operations Corporation (GSOC) is seeking a Senior M365 & SharePoint Engineer to serve as a technical lead for enterprise digital workplace platforms, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft Teams.

This role supports the design, modernization, automation, and integration of collaboration and content management solutions that help teams work more efficiently and securely across the organization.

You will translate business objectives into scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions, with a focus on modernizing legacy workflows and forms, improving enterprise content management, and enabling collaboration through Microsoft 365 technologies.

What You'll Do

As a Senior M365 & SharePoint Engineer, you will play a key role in modernizing digital workplace platforms and delivering secure, scalable solutions that support collaboration, automation, and enterprise content management.

You will:

  • Lead technical design and development of SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft Teams solutions.
  • Modernize and migrate legacy InfoPath forms and Nintex workflows to Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Build custom web parts and business applications using SharePoint Framework, React, Angular, and .NET technologies, including C# and ASP.NET.
  • Develop and maintain complex PowerShell scripts that support automation, migration, and platform administration.
  • Integrate SharePoint and Microsoft 365 with Azure services, Microsoft Teams, and third-party APIs.
  • Design and implement Teams applications, bots, and integrations that support collaboration and workflow automation.
  • Develop and deploy Copilot and agent solutions that enhance user experience and productivity within Teams and Microsoft 365.
  • Lead migrations from SharePoint On-Premises to SharePoint Online using industry-standard tools such as ShareGate or AvePoint.
  • Plan and execute improvements to information architecture, taxonomy, governance, and enterprise content management practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Teams upgrades, performance optimization, and platform support.
  • Partner with product owners, stakeholders, developers, and support teams to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and support timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

At advanced levels, this role may also:

  • Provide technical leadership for digital workplace modernization, workflow automation, and Microsoft 365 platform strategy.
  • Mentor developers and support staff on platform capabilities, standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Lead cross-functional technical initiatives that improve collaboration, content management, productivity, and platform adoption.
  • Help establish scalable, secure, and supportable design patterns for enterprise collaboration and digital workplace solutions.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field of study from an accredited college or university. A combination of experience and/or education may be considered.
  • Six or more years of experience with SharePoint On-Premises, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and enterprise content management.
  • Strong technical experience with SharePoint Framework, React, Angular, .NET, C#, and ASP.NET.
  • Experience modernizing InfoPath forms and Nintex workflows, including migration to cloud-based Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions.
  • Experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting experience.
  • Experience with SharePoint migration tools such as ShareGate or AvePoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams management, integrations, Teams apps, bots, and Copilot or agent solution development.
  • Experience with Windows Server and IIS administration.
  • Deep understanding of SharePoint and Teams architecture, governance, and security.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Collaborative and adaptable approach with the ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

Digital Workplace & Collaboration Platforms

  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Teams, and Power Platform solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting enterprise content management, collaboration sites, workflow automation, platform governance, and information architecture.
  • Experience building scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with business objectives.

Development & Integration

  • Experience developing custom applications, integrations, web parts, Teams apps, bots, or automation solutions.
  • Experience integrating Microsoft 365 platforms with Azure services and third-party APIs.
  • Experience with Agile delivery practices and iterative development processes.

Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified Professional certification is a plus.
  • Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals certification is a plus.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate certification is a plus.
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals certification is a plus.
  • ITIL Foundation v3 certification is a plus.
