Survey JR Party Chief - San Antonio, TX

TTL, Inc. has a need for a survey Jr. party chief to work out of our San Antonio office. This role is responsible for working all aspects of a survey crew. This person must have a good safety record and be able to communicate effectively with other team members and clients.

What You'll Do

  • Completes field assignments accurately while ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.
  • Performs the following surveys: boundary, control, topographic, construction layout and staking, environmental mapping, GPS/GIS surveys, and land surveying.
  • Completes the field work by performing the administrative functions to include all computations, reduction of field notes, maintaining records, contacting clients, etc.


Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with surveying
  • Proficient in the use of GPS, Robotic Total Station and data collectors.
  • H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license and a safe driving record
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather and field conditions
  • Must be able to work outside typical daily 8 am to 5 pm hours. Typical work schedule is 10 days on and 4 days off.
  • Must be able to travel for extended periods of time
  • Must have basic computer skills for time, expense and field data entry
  • Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing
