Job Title: Senior Node.js Developer
Location: Irving, TX

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Node.js Developer to join our team in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Node.js, JavaScript, and cloud-based architectures. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions using Node.js and related frameworks.

  • Design, implement, and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

  • Work with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and other databases to ensure efficient data handling.

  • Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.

  • Implement microservices architecture and integrate with third-party services.

  • Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Ensure security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.

  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide technical guidance.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Node.js development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 5+ years of hands-on Node.js experience.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+.

  • Strong experience in building and optimizing RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.

  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, or other databases.

  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

  • Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

  • Expertise in unit testing, integration testing, and performance optimization.

  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and microservices.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures.

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools.

  • Exposure to frontend technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
