Job description

Role Summary
This role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining solutions within an energy trading and risk management platform. The position involves working closely with various business units to support the full commodity trade lifecycle, including trade capture, risk management, scheduling, and settlements. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Endur platform development and a solid understanding of energy commodities and financial derivatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, customize, and support solutions within the ION Endur platform.
  • Develop and maintain applications using OpenJVS, OpenComponents, Java, and SQL.
  • Configure and customize Endur modules such as trade capture, scheduling, risk management, settlements, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Endur and enterprise systems, including ERP, market data, and data warehouses.
  • Develop APIs, batch jobs, and interfaces utilizing REST, SOAP, Java, and messaging technologies.
  • Collaborate with traders, risk managers, analysts, and operations teams to gather and implement business requirements.
  • Support front-office, middle-office, and back-office trading processes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide ongoing system support.
  • Optimize system performance and enhance system reliability through continuous improvement.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, deployment, and release management activities.
  • Create technical documentation and provide mentorship to junior developers when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing within the ION Endur/OpenLink Endur platform.
  • Strong expertise in OpenJVS, Java, SQL/PLSQL, and OpenComponents.
  • Proven experience in integrating Endur with external systems.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Availability to work on-site in accordance with location requirements.

Publishing Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
