- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Working knowledge of any higher-level programming language (C#, C++, VB.Net, Java, Rust, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Excel macros and formulas to automatically generate certain kinds of data.
Job Description
Develops, designs, implements and tests software of embedded devices and systems; monitors and enhances the efficiency and stability of the systems.
Responsibilities
The Service Technologies section delivers three releases per year labeled A, B and C (for example, 2026A, 2026B and 2026C) for the Windows based service tool, Remote Troubleshoot, and Local Troubleshoot products.
- Implement application data for each release, as specified by internal Cat Electronics customers, for all products.
- Implement calibration and service procedure data for each release, as specified by internal Cat Electronics customers, for all products.
- Implement service tool simulation applications (i.e. Trainer) as schedule permits.
- Apply engineering controls to implemented data, and resolve errata with workgroup Application Engineers, team lead, and/or Cat Electronics customers.
- Develop and maintain the workgroup process documentation as required.
- Develop and maintain workgroup and/or personal process tools as required.
- Develop and maintain Cat Electronics facing process tools as required (e.g. OIP Information Services).
