Job description

Reputable multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Des Moines team!


Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level project design/review of project documents
  • Ensure design quality for complex projects across various sectors
  • Lead QA/QC initiatives/develop standards and guidelines
  • Serve as advisor on complex projects and make recommendations/decisions on project design work
  • Promote efficiencies/high-quality output within the team
  • Deliver high quality engineering designs
  • Mentor/train junior staff


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 6+ years of progressive engineering experience
  • PE License
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Comprehensive understanding of International Building Codes


Salary is commensurate with experience.
